The Beast from the Sea

1And the dragon stood on the sand of the

Then I saw a bbeast coming up out of the sea, having cten horns and dseven heads, and on his horns were eten diadems, and on his heads were fblasphemous names.
2And the beast which I saw was glike a leopard, and his feet were like those of ha bear, and his mouth like the mouth of ia lion. And the jdragon gave him his power and his kthrone and great authority. 3I saw one of his heads as if it had been

4they worshiped the odragon because he pgave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, qWho is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5There was given to him a mouth rspeaking

The Beast from the Earth

11Then amI saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had antwo horns like a lamb and he spoke as a aodragon. 12He apexercises all the authority of the first beast

arin his presence. And he makes asthe earth and those who dwell in it to atworship the first beast, whose aufatal wound was healed.
13He avperforms great signs, so that he even makes awfire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. 14And he axdeceives aythose who dwell on the earth because of azthe signs which it was given him to perform
